COMMISSIONS

Jen is currently accepting commissions.

If you know exactly what you want, great! If not, that’s totally fine. Jen is happy to answer your questions and help with artsy decisions.

Prices are based on single-subject works. Multiple or ornate subjects and/or custom sizing may increase the price of your commission.

Jen typically works from reference photos and descriptions of your subject(s). All works receive a medium appropriate fixative (so your art doesn’t smudge or yellow over time).

THE CUSTOM ORNAMENT

The best way to spread holiday cheer is singing loud for all to hear…or, you know, buying someone an ornament with something they love painted on it. Pets, nachos, chocolate cake, Grandma…the possibilities are endless!

  • $65

  • 4” slice of real pine

  • jute string

  • coated with semi-gloss archival varnish (+UV protection)

THE MINI-PORTRAIT

We know you want a full wall in your home adorned with the likeness of the family cat (let’s be honest—we all do) but perhaps a mural isn’t in your budget right now and you want to scale down a bit. A postcard-size work of art might be just the thing to show Mr. Murder Claws how much he means to you.

  • $50

  • 4 X 6 in. canvas paper

  • gouache or acrylic paint

THE MEDIUM - PENCIL

We’re referring to art sizing using the word ‘the’ like we’re some sort of fancy upscale boutique—is it working? Here we’re offering a work of art (done in pencil) that’s a bit larger and much, much sturdier than a piece of computer paper.

  • $225

  • 9 x 12 in. canvas paper

  • black & white and/or colored pencil

THE MEDIUM - PAINT

And here’s another medium-size work (oh my goodness can you EVEN), but this time in your choice of paint. Acrylic paint is a sturdy, synthetic paint that’s quite common, and gouache is essentially a less-watery version of watercolor—no drippy kindergarten art here.

  • $250

  • 9 X 12 in. canvas paper

  • gouache or acrylic paint

THE MEDIUM PLUS

The Medium, but bigger! Hence the price increase. We ran out of ways to describe the sizing so you’ll have to deal with this weak attempt. If it’s good enough for the iPhone it’s good enough for art.

  • $375

  • 11 X 17 in. canvas paper

  • gouache or acrylic paint

THE LARGE

The Large is, well, larger than the medium? We don’t know what to say. If you want a bigger portrait or work of art, consider this rectangular beauty.

  • $650

  • 16 x 20 in. canvas paper

  • gouache or acrylic paint

THE EXTRA LARGE

The largest size work Jen is currently offering is this guy—The Extra Large. Not a whole lot more we can say about it, but we can clarify that “canvas paper” is a heavy, textured paper that replicates the surface of canvas.

  • $865

  • 18 x 24 in. canvas paper

  • gouache or acrylic paint
